GEA Grasso M

GEA Grasso M

Single-stage screw compressor units of the GEA Grasso M series are your #1 choice in the small to medium cooling capacity range across many industrial applications, such as food and beverage processing, pharma and chemical industry, and building climatization.

Thanks to advanced engineering design and less component complexity, GEA Grasso M screw compressor units combine outstanding reliability and easy servicing with high efficiency. These features offer excellent savings potential on energy, service and other operating expenses and lower the total cost of the refrigeration system over its entire life cycle.

Save energy, service and operating expenses – Lower your total cost of ownership

Engineered for energy efficiency, GEA Grasso M screw compressors consume 3 to 5 % less power than their predecessors. This adds up to significant savings on your electricity bill. GEA Grasso M units in most common application conditions operate without oil pump – which further reduces energy consumption and lowers spare parts expenses.

Powered by high speed motors (variable speed range: 1,000 – 4,500 rpm), GEA Grasso M units deliver top capacities and maximum efficiency for low part-load requirements.

Smart design and reduced complexity result in very small footprints making the GEA Grasso M units by far the most compact on the market.

Technical improvements to several key components allow for prolonged maintenance intervals. This minimizes service time and expenses, and again benefits your total cost of ownership.

The series includes 8 models covering a cooling capacity range from 219 to 879 kW (R717 | -10/+35°C | 4,500 rpm).

Rely on GEA Grasso M compressor units to redefine your total cost of ownership and reduce life-cycle expenses!
