GEA has acquired its long-time import partner for farm technologies, Bellucci Orlando e c. S.r.l., Based in Modena, Bellucci has become one of the most renowned suppliers of dairy farming solutions in Italy since the company was founded in 1940, and has been GEA's exclusive import partner for equipment and solutions for over 70 years. With the acquisition of Bellucci - a well-established company - GEA strengthens its local activities in the Italian dairy farming market.
Bellucci’s existing portfolio will remain available for GEA dealers and will be enlarged with additional GEA solutions. The company site in Modena with 20 employees will be further expanded in the coming years. For example, a recently opened GEA Academy is already available to dealers and customers for training. GEA will also train new technical support staff at the Academy.
Peter Lauwers, CEO GEA Farm Technologies, emphasizes GEA's ambitious goals for the Italian market: "We will focus even more on automated systems for milking, feeding and manure processes.
