New Beiersdorf cosmetics production site in Germany to operate on GEA technology

In June 2021, Beiersdorf AG – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of skin and body care products – contracted GEA to deliver the process technology for a new plant in Leipzig, Germany.
Beiersdorf AG is investing around EUR 220 million in the construction of a new state-of-the-art production center in Saxony. Production is scheduled to start at the end of 2022.
Around 200 employees will then work in the Leipzig-Seehausen plant.
