1. Who is responsible for your personal data? 

GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Peter-Müller-Straße 12, 40468 Dusseldorf, Germany (in the following mentioned as “we“ or “GEA“) and Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (in the following mentioned as “Facebook“) are joint controllers within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (in the following mentioned as “GDPR”) regarding the data processing explained under 3. This means, that we are the legal entities, who jointly determine the purposes and means of the processing of your personal data in connection to your visit of our Facebook fan page.

3. Processing of your personal data on our Facebook fan page

When you use our Facebook fan page, so-called Insights data are processed on Facebook pages. Please click on this link to find out in detail, which data are processed in this context. Facebook uses these data to create page statistics („Page Insights“) and makes them available to us. Please find further information about the content of these Page Insights here. 

These statistics help us to understand the interests of our users and to design our fan page accordingly. The purpose of the processing is thus to provide a platform that is tailored to your interests as far as possible and which displays current and interesting information about us. The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Facebook only provides Page Insights to us which contain the statistics of the last two years.

Your Insights data, which are used to create these statistics, are exclusively processed by Facebook. In this regard, the Facebook’s Privacy Policy applies.
