Via GEA FLOWVENT Control tops and the plant’s Process Logic Controller (PLC), all valve functions in the process line are monitored and optimized to ensure exact processing operations and results.
Digital GEA FLOWVENT Control Top
The state-of-the-art control top on all GEA FLOWVENT valve units receives and processes digital electronic signals from the PLC for opening and closing the valve. The commands are translated from the control top to the valve via control air.
The built-in digital circuits detect the opened and closed position of the valve by means of a self-adjusting path measuring system which provides two feedback signals at any time.
The control tops are available with 24VDC & AS-interface communication, offering resistance against vibration (10 g).
- Standardized M12 connection (optional with cable gland and spring-loaded-terminals)
