ViscoBoosterUnit
Not all fuel oils are the same. Problems can occur with heavy fuel oil in particular because its viscosity does not meet the demands of the diesel engines used. What is more, however, its operating temperature and pressure should also correspond as precisely as possible to the specifications of the engine manufacturer. In the ViscoBoosterUnit, GEA has developed a system which conditions the different fuels perfectly for the diesel engine.
Efficiënte oplossingen in de beste omstandigheden
De Visco BoosterUnit (VBU) wordt geïnstalleerd tussen de brandstofolietank en de te leveren motor. De volautomatische regeling zorgt ervoor dat de viscositeit, temperatuur en druk van de olie exact kunnen worden aangepast aan de specificaties van de motorfabrikant. Bijgevolg hebben verschillende soorten brandstoffen geen negatieve invloed meer op de motor. Ongeacht de gebruikte brandstof draait de motor steeds vlot omdat de VBU de brandstof conditioneert zodat deze compatibel is met de motor.
Voldoet aan alle eisen
Afhankelijk van de motorfabrikant zijn verschillende uitvoeringen nodig om de ViscoBoosterUnit te integreren.

Met of zonder stand-byfunctie voor toevoerpompen, drukopvoerpompen en voorverwarmers voor zware brandstofoliën, voor één of meer motoren - er is steeds een oplossing voor uw eisen en verwachtingen. Uiteraard zijn alle systemen compact, licht, betrouwbaar, eenvoudig te installeren en eenvoudig te onderhouden, terwijl de belangrijkste componenten steeds optimale prestaties leveren.

GEA opens new technology center, strengthening its position in the growing pharmaceutical applications market
Together with Mona Neubaur, Minister of Economic Affairs of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, GEA CEO Stefan Klebert has opened a new technology center for pharmaceutical freeze-drying systems in Elsdorf, Germany. GEA employs approximately 260 people at the facility, which combines research and development with production and service under one roof.
