How serviceable tank cleaners help facility operators meet advanced sustainability goals.
Many cleaners must be replaced every few years, entailing considerable effort and material waste. But it doesn’t have to be this way:
With our constant drive for new ways to make our products more sustainable and save valuable resources we would like to announce the update of our Turbodisc and Turbo SSB ranges that are now serviceable.
Instead of replacing these cleaners after years, users can now have them serviced in the field and continue to use them with no limit to service life. Only a few small wear parts, such as seals or bearings, need to be replaced on the updated cleaners to restore them to full functionality.
Only normal field tools are required for the servicing of these units which makes on sites servicing of the process even more practical especially as we have now made available a full list of service kits that contain everything that is required.
To further simplify maintenance, GEA offers dedicated service kits for the updated cleaner types. The kit for Turbodisc free-rotating cleaners contains essential spare parts such as a wedge washer, seal ring and bushing. For the Turbo SSB slow rotating cleaners, the kit consists of a washer and shaft bearing. These standardized service kits ensure that field maintenance teams always have the precise components needed for quick and efficient work, minimizing downtime and process interruption.
The updated design makes these powerful but compact cleaners even more practical for today’s environmentally conscious companies.
