GEA y Pulmuone honran a generaciones de artesanos de la pasta fría
Cuando el productor surcoreano de alimentos de origen vegetal Pulmuone planteó a GEA el reto de desarrollar un giro moderno del tradicional fideo frío masticable (naengmyeon), los expertos en I+D de GEA estuvieron a la altura. Ayudaron a crear lo que ahora es un éxito comercial producido con menos agua y electricidad que los métodos antes existentes. El resultado también es fiel a los orígenes tradicionales del plato, así como a las raíces de salud, bienestar y sostenibilidad de Pulmuone.
Diferenciarse del resto
La historia de la centrífuga GEA comienza en 1893, cuando Franz Ramesohl y Franz Schmidt iniciaron la producción de su separador mecánico de leche patentado, allanando el camino al procesado de lácteos moderno. La innovación permitió superar un importante reto de su época: cómo suministrar leche a una creciente población urbana en la Alemania de finales del siglo XIX. Y ayudó a impulsar una industria en auge. En 1913, se les unieron otras 67 empresas en Alemania que fabricaban centrífugas, muchas de las cuales estaban situadas cerca de su planta de Oelde. Tras liderar la tecnología de separación durante 130 años, GEA sigue replanteándose sus centrífugas.
