Valves for oil draining.
GEA quick closing valves are designed for installation in oil drain pipelines and in the parts of a system which are at the highest risk of failure, such as level indicators, sight glasses, flexible pipes etc. They open when the lever is being pulled. The system’s pressure acting upon the sealing piston supports the opening. The pressure spring is dimensioned to have the sealing piston opened autonomously at a system pressure of > 20 bar. If the lever is released, the sealing piston closes automatically. Sealing at the valve seat is provided by a chloroprene o-ring.
