Specifications

Advanced technology
Patented flour divider
GEA OptiFlour | Dust free flour applicator with patented flour divider

Our OptiFlour has a patented flour divider to give products an even coating.  Any lumps are removed by the adjustable lump remover.

Optimum coating adhesion
GEA OptiFlour | Dust-free flour applicator with optimum coating adhesion

A conveyor belt carries the product onto a flour bed. Here, small doses of flour are fed continuously onto our patented shaker belt to create a thin or thick top layer as required. Lumps are removed. Optionally the product can run under two adjustable pressure rolls for optimal flour adhesion. Ticklers, and manually-controlled belt vibration, remove surplus flour.  Excess flour is blown off at the outfeed.

The closed construction of the OptiFlour minimizes dust production. It can be connected to your existing blower and exhaust system. Used with the OptiAir, the OptiFlour prevents blocked blower pipes and avoids the need to clean the room after production. This makes the OptiFlour the first in the industry to work dust-free. GEA OptiAir extracts air from the OptiFlour, creating under pressure within the machine. Extracted dust is re-used in the OptiFlour without interrupting production.
