Our valve series include all valve types required for optimal execution of sterile processes in the pharmaceutical sector. The spectrum ranges from shut-off to double-seat and tank bottom valves, as well as an extensive portfolio of special valves.
The VESTA® valve series includes all valve types required for optimal execution of sterile processes in the pharmaceutical sector. These include laboratory applications as well as complex process plants in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics industries. The spectrum ranges from shut-off to double-seat and tank bottom valves and includes an extensive portfolio of special valves. Furthermore, thanks to the smart compact design of the VESTA® valve, very space-saving valve combinations can be built.
The core component of VESTA® Sterile valves is their single-piece PTFE bellows, which is made from the material TFM 1705. The patented bellows sealing system safely separates the product-wetted area from the atmosphere in all process steps and seals the valve seat and thus significantly enhance process and product safety.
Adding to its excellent chemical resistance against almost all media, TFM 1705 also complies with all standards relevant for the pharmaceutical industry, including FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 and USP class VI. The high-quality surface finish (Ra≤ 0.8 μm), the seamless and hermetic sealing as well as the CIP/SIP optimized design are further distinguishing features.
The valve line, which is based on a seat concept, also boasts optimized flow and dead-space-free valve housing.
In modern production processes, efficient cleaning systems ensure decisive advantages. All flow paths in process plants must be regularly and consistently cleaned of product residues. When it comes to controlling optimally efficient CIP (Cleaning In Place) processes, our GEA VARIVENT® mixproof valves play an important role as central switching points. The comprehensive GEA VARIVENT® valve family offers uncompromisingly hygienic, efficient and uniquely adaptable valve technology in a flexible modular system.
All GEA VARIVENT® valve units are fitted with the latest generation of GEA control tops to facilitate convenient valve operation and control. Moreover, the units can be integrated into state-of-the-art, ultra-flexible Industry 4.0 operation and automation concepts. All mechanical and digital components combine to form a perfectly coordinated valve unit that enhances the functionality and safety of the valve application and also proves more cost-effective in operation.
Aseptomag® valves were originally developed for dairy and food production. Due to the materials used, which meet very high standards, our valves are also suitable for the pharmaceutical sector. The bellows valves ensure hermetic sealing of the valve stem, minimizing contamination risks and maximizing the possibility of detections.
The Aseptomag® valves meet the strict hygiene standards of current standards and directives. Thanks to the modular design, the valve series can be adapted to customer-specific process requirements - including higher closing pressures, special materials and a particular design. They can be equipped with T.VIS® control tops and can be seamlessly integrated into automated systems.
The D-tec® valve line uses stem diaphragm technology to hermetically seal the sterile process pipe against the atmosphere and are characterized by higher protection against contamination as well as environmental influences. The D-tec® stem diaphragm prevents the ingress of microorganism from the atmosphere into the product and thus increases product and process safety. The innovative connection between valve stem and stem diaphragm minimizes the mechanical stress for the hermetic sealing element.
D-tec® Valves are based on the VARIVENT® valve family and thus offer high flexibilty for valve configuration. The result: Economic efficiency for the system operator and optimized warehousing thanks to reduced parts diversity with proven quality.
LEFF® stands for Low Emission Flip Flop. The LEFF® function is integrated in the T.VIS® A-15 valve control top and can be easily activated. Path-controlled electronics pulse-control the moment and degree of opening the valve disk with absolute precision and thus, optimize the cleaning effect by minimizing detergent consumption and cleaning time.
