“What I like the most is the diversity – the contact and interaction with the customers offer something new again and again. The work really is very varied because the customers’ needs are always different. With the direct contact I have, I can respond to those needs and identify the best solutions. This means I can contribute to the end product, the service, and further improve it. This gives me a real kick and I am delighted to be able to do this work.”
“We don’t provide ready-to-wear, off-the-shelf solutions. What counts is what the customer needs. This has always been the GEA corporate philosophy. And I can absolutely identify with that. The competition no doubt has tailored solutions to offer, too. But at GEA, we don’t simply present the customer with what we developed internally without actually taking the customer’s interests into account. I like our very customer-oriented approach and the fact that we are very open and highly communicative. And that’s what sets us apart – the focus is definitely on the customer. I’d say that was our USP.”
“After obtaining my German high school diploma, I thought about the direction I wanted to go in and was considering a dual study course so that I could apply what I learned in my studies directly in practice. In other words, not simply going through the theory mindlessly, but actually doing something tangible. While looking into this, I came across GEA Tuchenhagen. It really was a lucky find. Young people tend not to be familiar with industrial enterprises. And as a blank slate, I wasn’t aware of the company either. I took a look at the site and was convinced right away. I got to know other industrial enterprises during my internship, so I had something to compare GEA to while the company was explained to me during the tour. And I knew this was simply a good fit for me. I could identify with the philosophy, the company’s endeavors to be among the best, and the importance attached to precision, and I thought to myself: ‘This is fantastic, I want to be a part of this!’. That’s what won me over. And fortunately, the company saw things in much the same way when I went for my job interview.”
