Your responsibilities and tasks:

Join GEA as a dynamic and experienced Regional Real Estate Manager to oversee and manage all real estate activities across Germany, covering an extensive portfolio of 440,000 square meters. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Real Estate Functional Heads to tailor and synchronize global concepts, strategies, governance, and operational services to meet specific business needs. If you are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in real estate management and a passion for optimizing property assets, we invite you to join our team in Düsseldorf or another location in Germany.

Your tasks

  • Develop and manage the RE Operational Plan aligned with global strategies and business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including GEA Business Divisions, RE Functions, and external partners.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with RE governance and performance arrangements.
  • Deliver operational services for all RE activities within the region.
  • Understand and align RE approach with business plans and goals.
  • Monitor changes in space and RE service requirements to adapt planning activities.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for regional business stakeholders on all RE matters.
  • Manage relationships with external collaborators and service providers to meet regional targets.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key internal customers and external partners.
  • Oversee and support survey and feedback processes to improve RE service satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets for RE expenditure and monitor costs.
  • Develop business cases for RE investments and obtain necessary approvals.

Your profile and qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field with solid technical and Real Estate finance knowledge (e.g., MBA / FRCIS / MRICS).
  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Real Estate in a global or senior regional role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in German and English
  • Competence in working with senior teams, internal stakeholders, and business leaders.
  • Proven team and collaboration skills with demonstrated leadership and influence.
  • Financial and commercial experience with skills in business case development, financial analysis, budgeting, and managing Real Estate costs and investments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and financial software.
  • Experience leading RE technology and data management tools.
