As Director QHSE you drive, implement and improve the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental strategy, policy and standards in cooperation with all in- and external stakeholders. You lead the Bakel organization towards excellence in Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability.
Tasks:
Builds and develops the team to a high-performance team with a high professional level, driving continuous improvements and learning.
Manages improves the Safety and Quality-oriented organization.
Ensures the establishment of a Quality &HSE management system in accordance with the requirements (legal, industry standards, customers, GEA internal).
Coordinates the integral and continuous process improvement of the Quality & HSE management system.
Coordinates and manages internal and external audits including the pro-active reporting and follow-up of these audits to assure that the organization and its processes do satisfy the requirements.
Initiates, defines and implements operational quality management processes and projects, to assure the quality performance of the organization (e.g. procedures, FMEA, control plan, inspections, traceability, corrective/preventive actions, monitoring of measurement / test equipment).
Defines KPIs, sets challenging targets and manages towards results.
Ensures cost of poor Quality reduces significantly across the organization (E2E).
Functional performance reporting into the Head of QHSE within the Food and Healthcare Technologies Division.
Bachelor’s degree or master’s, supplemented with relevant QHSE and Operational Excellence training.
Relevant work experience in a QHSE managerial role in an industrial engineering/production environment.
ISO 9001: 2015 knowledge and certification as internal auditor.
Proven knowledge and application of 8Ds, Lean methodologies quality tools.
Ability to collect/analyze data and use of with MS Excel/Access/ or Minitab.
Used to work under pressure with time and resources constraint.
Passion for Quality and for details.
Enthusiastic, positive and pro-active approach.
Six sigma green belt/black belt would be preferable.
Fluent English, second foreign language would be a plus.
