Your responsibilities and tasks:

As part of our Strategy Team you will play an integral role in realizing our growth ambitions in the Heating and Refrigeration Technologies division.

GEA Heating & Refrigeration Technologies is a global specialist in industrial refrigeration, large scale heat pumps and sustainable engineering solutions for a wide array of industries including, food, beverage, dairy and energy markets.

You will report to the VP Strategy and Business Development of the Heating and Refrigeration Technology Division. Your tasks include:

  • Manage strategy and strategic projects in Germany or abroad such as e.g. strategy development and implementation, operational improvement or M&A projects

  • Close cooperation with diverse stakeholders in and outside Heating and Refrigeration Technologies, such as e.g. business management and finance

  • Support local management teams in implementing the agreed strategy and monitor / present progress to the VP Strategy or the management board of the Heating and Refrigeration Technologies division

  • Management / steering of other special projects

Your profile and qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a university degree (ideally master’s degree) in business, economics or industrial engineering, ideally with a focus on strategy / finance

  • Several years of relevant experience preferably in a strategy consulting role or similar function within an international setting

  • Proven experience in project management

  • Further benefit: experience in systemic organizational development and / or quality management

  • Ability to understand and analyses complex situations and draw accurate conclusions to provide recommendations for further action

  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proactive individual that enjoys working independently with limited guidance

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German language; further languages desirable

  • Strong team player that can work with a broad variety of individuals across different cultures

  • Willingness to occasionally travel internationally
