Suppliers

Sustainability

GEA works closely with all our suppliers on relevant sustainability matters. Our preferred suppliers must meet our sustainability criteria by 2026 in order to maintain their status as our preferred supplier. By 2030 our sustainability criteria are expected to be met by all our A-suppliers.

We are closely following up on the implementation to ensure the targeted success. Our sustainability criteria are discussed frequently at review meetings with our suppliers, where necessary plans and conclusions are discussed and agreed.

Trainings for suppliers

Supplier sustainability training

Human rights are non-negotiable for GEA, neither in our own operations nor in our supply chain. Our partner econsense provides training modules (videos + handbooks) on this topic, which we would like to recommend to our suppliers and business partners.

The training modules give both buyers and suppliers an understanding of the legal and normative requirements in the context of respecting and safeguarding human rights and provide an initial introduction to the topic. All videos and manuals are available in four different languages (English, German, Spanish and Chinese) and can be accessed via the econsense website.
