Sterilization by clean steam
Sterilization using pure steam is the preferred and proven method for pharmaceutical applications in which the product is in contact with the equipment surface. For complex designs air pockets must be removed by applying a vacuum for improved sterilization time and reduced steam consumption. These challenging requirements are met by the new generation of GEA ASEPTIC-SD® spray dryers.
