The TempuMixer II reduces product waste and consumption of tempura mix ingredients. It is the most efficient way to produce crispy textured tempura coated products.

The GEA TempuMixer II is easy to control. The fully automated mixing process produces a tempura batter mix with consistent viscosity, composition and temperature. It automatically controls the tempura batter mixing and dosing quantities of flour and water. Its in-line viscosity measurement and temperature control ensure repeatable results.

Advanced technologyFully automatic mixing for maximum batch control
The GEA TempuMixer II has a flour hopper with flour feed, accurately controlled by weighing cells. A water meter automatically doses and accurately controls the water as it’s fed to the mixing tank. This gives precise batch control. All set points can be stored in recipes. The Vortex technology, with an impeller in the bottom of the tank, gives gentle mixing. This starts the mixing as the flour is added. A double cooling jacket enables very accurate temperature control.
Gentle vortex mixing to avoid distortion of tempura
The GEA TempuMixer Module II, tempura batter mixer, uses a gentle ‘Vortex’ mixing technique. This has low mechanical impact and offers optimum blending and dilution of the ingredients. This helps preserve the tempura’s crunchiness after frying. Aggressive mixing, for example with rotating blades in a tank, can negatively affect the mouthfeel and appearance of the product.
