Aseptomag® valve line

Sampling Valves Aseptomag® PV

Aseptomag® single-seat sampling valves are used for the safe sampling in UltraClean and Aseptic processing plants.

When not actuated, the internal assembly seals the valve seat in a leakage-free manner and thus enables the seal tightness of the product line / container. Using the axial valve stroke, monitored sampling can be initiated.

Housing
Housings for sampling valves are available as a weld-on, screwed-on or clamped-on component in various executions and sizes. In addition, all housings can be executed with two or three connection ports. The third connection port is primarily used for steam supply.

Internal Assembly
The internal assembly is available with either a stainless steel or PTFE bellows. In the case of the PTFE bellows, the valve seat seal is fully integrated into the bellows part whereas the stainless steel bellows contains a shrunk PTFE seal by default. In addition to the aseptic executions with a bellows as hermetic sealing element, the modular structure of the valve further allows to execute the internal assembly without a hermetic sealing against atmosphere.

Actuator
Aseptomag® sampling valves offer a variety of different actuator options. Besides different manual drives with hand wheel and hand lever, there is also a true pneumatic actuator available. Optionally, sampling valves can also be equipped with actuators allowing both, manual and pneumatic actuation.

Clamp
Due to its solid construction, the GEA Aseptomag clamp enables a pressure stable and safe connection of the main components. The special design with two segments allows a service-friendly handling of the component, even under tight space conditions.

Feedback units
Sampling valves equipped with a pneumatic actuator offers the option of an open feedback unit for M8 proximity switches or they can be equipped with a T.VIS® V-1 by using an adaptor kit. Special feedback options for valve configurations with other actuator types are available upon request.

Double-chamber valve Aseptomag® DK – valve matrix

Aseptomag® aseptic valves are designed to meet the highest demands for aseptic processes in the dairy, food and beverage industry.

Aseptic bellows valves distinguish themselves with the uncompromisingly hermetic seal of the valve stem, thereby minimizing contamination risks and maximizing detection possibilities. The Aseptomag® valve line is the equivalent for aseptic processes to the hygienic VARIVENT® valve line and provides everything from shut-off and bottom-seat to mixproof and sampling valves. The valves meet the highest hygienic standards required, such as EHEDG and 3-A standards. Thanks to the modular structure, the Aseptomag® valve line also allows tailor-made valve solutions for specific process requirements (higher closing pressures, special materials, special design, etc). Aseptomag® valves can be equipped with T.VIS® control tops and can therewith seamlessly be integrated into an automated process plant.

Aseptic Applications

For aseptic processes, the following areas have to be considered: Product sterilization, conveying and maintaining sterility, and filling under sterile conditions. Aseptic processes signify high-quality products and/or long shelf-life, produced for specific consumer groups. Besides classic UHT milk products, medical nutrition, baby food, aseptically produced beverages and applications within biotech belong to this hygienic class.
