Aseptomag® valve line
Aseptic double-chamber bottom-seat valves are flow control devices for aseptic tank applications.
Double-chamber Valve Aseptomag® DKBS
Housing
Bottom-seat housings for double chamber bottom-seat valves are available with one, two, three or four port connections. The valves are produced with standard butt-weld connections by default. Mixed port connection sizes can be delivered upon request as well as various aseptic pipe connections. Bottom-seat valve housings are available with pipe, welded flange or screwed flange connection to the tank.
Internal Assembly
The upper seat of the internal assembly contains a shrunk valve seat seal made of Tefasep® (optionally PTFE). The lower valve seat seal is available with a shrunk or screwed valve seat seal. In addition to the standard sealant Tefasep®, other sealing materials such as PTFE, EPDM, Viton®, etc., are also available for the lower seat. The nominal diameter of the valve is determined by the larger valve seat (upper seat seal "B" above).
Actuator
The standard version of the pneumatic actuator is designed as spring-closing / air-opening (NC). Available actuator options include: a drive without single-seat lifting (1 valve stroke), one with the seat-lifting of the bottom valve seat (seat A) and full stroke (2 valve strokes), and finally one with single-seat lifting of both valve seats (seats A+B) and valve full stroke (3 valve strokes).
Clamp
Due to its solid construction, the GEA clamp enables a pressure stable and safe connection of the main components. The special design with three segments allows a service-friendly handling of the component, even under tight space conditions.
Side valves
The sterile chamber includes a steam inlet and a drain valve by default. Both valves can be either equipped with normally closed (NC) or normally open actuators (NO), depending on customer specifications. Both port connections on the side valves face downwards the same direction. Furthermore, the drain valve is available with an integrated temperature probe which enables temperature measuring in the sterile chamber.
Feedback units
Aseptic double-chamber bottom-seat valves can be either equipped with open feedback units or T.VIS® feedback systems by default. Feedback units from third party suppliers can be mounted via specially designed adaptors.

Double-chamber valve Aseptomag® DK – valve matrix
Aseptic bellows valves distinguish themselves with the uncompromisingly hermetic seal of the valve stem, thereby minimizing contamination risks and maximizing detection possibilities. The Aseptomag® valve line is the equivalent for aseptic processes to the hygienic VARIVENT® valve line and provides everything from shut-off and bottom-seat to mixproof and sampling valves. The valves meet the highest hygienic standards required, such as EHEDG and 3-A standards. Thanks to the modular structure, the Aseptomag® valve line also allows tailor-made valve solutions for specific process requirements (higher closing pressures, special materials, special design, etc). Aseptomag® valves can be equipped with T.VIS® control tops and can therewith seamlessly be integrated into an automated process plant.
For aseptic processes, the following areas have to be considered: Product sterilization, conveying and maintaining sterility, and filling under sterile conditions. Aseptic processes signify high-quality products and/or long shelf-life, produced for specific consumer groups. Besides classic UHT milk products, medical nutrition, baby food, aseptically produced beverages and applications within biotech belong to this hygienic class.
