Making milk production more sustainable for a growing world
The world's population is growing and with it demand for milk. Dairy is an essential component of many global diets. However, its production can be resource-intensive and impact the environment. GEA’s Christian Müller, Senior Director Sustainability Farm Technologies, sheds light on how technological innovations powered by GEA make milk production more efficient and profitable.

A história da centrífuga da GEA começa em 1893, quando Franz Ramesohl e Franz Schmidt iniciaram a produção de seu separador de leite mecânico patenteado, abrindo caminho para o processamento moderno de laticínios. A inovação ajudou a superar um grande desafio de sua época: como fornecer leite para uma população urbana crescente na Alemanha do final do século XIX. E isso ajudou a fomentar um setor em expansão.
