GEA United States

Employment scam warning

Employment scam warning
We recently learned of security incidents where individuals using pseudonyms like Cinthia White (Recruiter) or Louis Dale (Hiring Manager) falsely claim to represent GEA for non-existent remote positions in the United States.

Perspective candidates, contacted through Microsoft Teams under an account named “GEA Group,” speak to the noted individuals and receive an employment offer that includes significant monetary compensation from “Zion Bank” or a similarly named financial institution for the purchase of equipment, insurance, etc.

Please note that GEA or organizations recruiting on our behalf will never provide an employment offer through Microsoft Teams or text messages. We also do not provide direct monetary assistance for onboarding purposes or solicit payment from perspective candidates as part of the recruitment process. All perspective candidates who are successful in gaining an employment offer from GEA will go through a formal recruitment process.
