Perfusionsseparatoren beschleunigen biopharmazeutische Prozesse
Kleine biopharmazeutische Produktionsbetriebe sind oft die treibende Kraft hinter der Verbreitung innovativer medizinischer Behandlungen. GEA revolutioniert die Möglichkeiten der Zellkultivierung für diese Hersteller mit Perfusionsseparatoren, die eine effizienzoptimierte kontinuierliche Verarbeitung ermöglichen. Erstmalig wurden geeignete Separatoren mit Tellerpaket in kompakte Einweg-Maschinen umgewandelt, die Platz, Arbeit und Aufwand sparen und gleichzeitig den Weg für eine höhere Produktionskapazität und -geschwindigkeit ebnen.
GEA-Homogenisierungsanlagen für Bio-Tinten für die regenerative Medizin
Wissenschaftler von GEA arbeiten gemeinsam mit Forschern der Technischen Universität Graz an der Entwicklung eines Homogenisierungsverfahrens und an einer Technologie, durch die Eukalyptuszellstoff zu 3D-gedruckten organischen Strukturen verarbeitet werden kann, die menschliche Venen, Arterien und andere Gewebe nachahmen.
