Tablet Compression

NexGen Press 30

For more than a hundred years, our innovation, driven by our passion for excellence, has pioneered tablet compression technology, allowing pharmaceutical and industrial companies to prosper, produce extraordinary products and change people’s lives.

The innovations that GEA has developed include a unique technology that independently and simultaneously measures and controls both tablet weight and hardness, and a weight control system that provides increased sensitivity at lower forces. Our presses offer an extended dwell time — up to 300% — resulting in higher outputs and enhanced productivity.

Our test facilities offer our customers the opportunity to experience these innovations in tablet compression and to optimize their processes and product formulations. All trials are conducted under the supervision of experienced engineers who have extensive process experience and are fully conversant with press operation and optimization.
