Home Care
Producers of dishwashing products operate in a highly competitive and consumer-driven environment in which innovation and brand reputation are paramount. GEA offer manufacturing solutions for the production of dishwashing liquids, gels and tablets.
GEA is an established expert in raw material handling, mixing and blending, tableting, storage, product recovery, cleaning-in-place (CIP) and automation. Whether you need a single component or a complete turnkey plant, GEA has the right technology and experience to meet those requirements in terms of hygienic design, product safety, productivity, profitability and quality.
Liquid Processing Solutions
The manufacture of liquid dishwashing detergents involves minimizing the quantity of the dishwashing liquid that the consumer requires. The generation of foam during production can be challenging, especially in filling lines. GEA not only understands liquid mixing technology but also has a unique understanding of the entire process, based on many years of experience.
High Output Tableting Solutions
For powder-based products, such as dishwasher tablets, we can advise on formulation, tableting applications (size, weight, shape), cost implications, quality control and downstream processing. Depending on the required tablet size (up to 70 mm diameter) and compression force (up to 40 tonnes), GEA offers a range of machines designed to meet your specific application requirements.
End-to-end solutions
All GEA technology is designed from the outset to aid fast plant development, bring products to market quickly and open up new market opportunities for processors and finished products. Our technology centers support each of the following processes:

GEA Hygienic Butterfly Valves offers the benefits of good hygienic design, higher ease of assembly, shorter assembly and maintenance times and thus higher production uptimes.
The decisive advantage of the VARICOMP® Expansion Compensator is the pocket-free design with drain characteristics – an indispensable feature for optimal cleaning in the CIP/SIP method.
The T.VIS® control top is an optimal system for controlling and monitoring GEA valves of the series VARIVENT®, ECOVENT® & T-smart.
The modular design of the VARIVENT® valve system provides many optional versions to perfectly adapt the valve to the process. VARIVENT® mixproof valves are especially used for mixproof shut-off of "hostile" media at pipeline crossing points.
