GEA Scan-Vibro Sifters for Powders

GEA offers a wide range of gentle, specially designed sifting systems for powdered products that ensure optimal outputs in terms of quantity and product quality. Sifters have various applications in powder plants. From simple security screening to fine grading, the type of sifter required can vary considerably, depending on the duty rate and product type.

Based on our extensive knowledge with a wide range of applications, GEA can provide a sifting solution that meets the strictest hygiene requirements in the food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries. Our sanitary sifters are designed to comply with USDA 3-A, NZFSA and EHEDG requirements. They are available as both “open” and “closed” options and are easy to operate, inspect and maintain.

With flexibility and end product quality in mind, our machinery can be supplied with various screen types to match a diversified range of products and is available as gravity fed or inline versions that directly feed into pneumatic conveying lines. Whatever your food or dairy powder application, from classifying, scalping or delumping, our sifters offer a cost-effective, safe and robust solution.

For ease of cleaning, the screen fastenings are designed to enable quick, tool-free removal. This also facilitates the efficient changeover of different screen mesh sizes on the same sifter to suit different product types or processes.

Low energy consumption and lubrication-free motors with long intervals between maintenance help to reduce operating costs during extended production cycles, especially when continuous operation is required. Our sifters combine trusted technology with a continual program of innovation aimed at maintaining price/performance leadership.
