To protect refrigeration and air conditioning systems from moisture, dirt, acids, oil decomposition products and sludge sediments.

Filters

GEA filter driers are equipped with filter blocks designed for easy replacement. The blocks are held in position by the filter carrier which also acts as a strainer. The liquid refrigerant enters the filter through the side entry and flows through the filter blocks and the filter carrier strainer. The filter blocks consist of an adsorption mass based on molecular sieve aluminum oxide. GEA filter driers are designed for use in the pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems with fluorinated refrigerants and also as a cleaning drier on the suction side. They protect the system from moisture, dirt, acids, oil decomposition products and sludge sediments. The dimensions of the filter blocks comply with international standards.
