Operation - Torus

Wash fluid enters a drive chamber creating a disc of moving water. The wash fluid exits the unit through the small number of slots in the external disc. The specially designed pattern of slots ensures the high energy droplets use the minimum amount of wash fluid to deliver optimum performance.

Advantages - Torus

  • Hygienic design
  • Economic flow rates
  • Low operating pressure
  • FDA conform
  • Versatile range of applications
  • Preferred mounting position: any
  • Available for tank safety system VARITOP®

Applications - Torus

Torus ideally suited to low flow and low pressure applications. The high energy, fast moving droplets provide very effective impingement up to two meters, meaning a single unit can clean vessels up to four meters diameter.

Torus is used in applications such as glove box / biohazard containment areas or to replace standard spray balls in larger vessels. It meets all essential FDA material requirements. This makes the unit highly suitable for the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, beverage and other hygiene conscious industries.
