The composition of the product you feed into your decanter is not always the same, especially if you are processing naturally grown products. Water, oil and solids contents vary because of i.e. weather, time - or rather: how fast you process your feedstock – or the operation of previous process stages. To always get the best separation results you have to adjust the separation zone inside your decanter according to the those feed conditions.
Adjusting your GEA decanter has never been easier than with Varipond C. Just select the respective diameter – manually or automatically – and the position of the eccentric centripetal pump adjusts pond depth and/or separation zone inside the bowl.
With GEA Varipond C adjusting your decanter to changing feed conditions, a varying flow rate or even different feedstocks can be done instantly and directly at the running machine.
